The course has been designed both for those working in career development, and for those aspiring to enter the field. Delivered fully online, the materials have been constructed in a way which will facilitate a structured order to your learning process.
The 12 month programme covers three modules, one each trimester, and is ideal for professionals working within the Human Resources, as well as Career and Employment guidance and counselling sector.

You will develop a critical understanding of key issues in career development practice, applicable to a variety of roles. You will gain the knowledge required to exercise professional autonomy and initiative in educational, workplace or community settings.

The entry requirement for this course is normally a UK Honours degree at 2:2 or above, and applicants may have a background in any discipline. The University may also consider lesser qualification if you can demonstrate sufficient work experience in the relevant field and industry.
If English is not your first language, you may need to undertake an approved English language test. You can discuss the available options with your personal academic consultant.
For certain positions, a postgraduate qualification may be essential, and for others it offers a competitive edge at the workplace.
