The BSc in Nursing Studies (Top Up) programme is delivered online from the Edinburgh Napier University and is for professionals in the field of nursing, holding a diploma or a certificate in Nursing and looking to top up their nursing qualifications towards a full BSc degree in Nursing Studies.
This programme comprises of 5 compulsory modules with syllabus aimed to develop strong insight into student's knowledge of evidence based practice. The programme also aims to develop an analytical approach to integrated healthcare practice.
The nursing degree programme is managed by an inclusive community of registered nurses, healthcare professionals and nursing managers to include the most contemporary knowledge in the field of Nursing and Healthcare.
The BSc in Nursing programme is consistent with topical nursing practice, encouraging students to develop their skills and knowledge to further advance in the sphere of nursing and healthcare.

All entrants to the BSc Nursing Studies programme must be currently registered as a Nurse with a recognised nursing regulatory body and hold a Nursing qualification, and have at least 2 years relevant working experience
If your Nursing qualification is a Diploma which included study at FHEQ level 5 you will only be required to complete the five core modules.
NOTE: If you do not have evidence of completing a diploma in Nursing to FHEQ Level 5, you will be required to successfully complete the Professional Ethical and Legal Issues in Healthcare module, after which you can then progress through the remainder of the programme
A Bachelor's degree in Nursing can open doors to opportunities in the field of healthcare, specifically that of nursing, where skills and knowledge gained from this programme can be practiced for further strengthening professional profile.
