Students on this postgraduate distance learning degree will possess an excellent level of knowledge and understanding of a range of topics in Occupational Psychology and a keen awareness of theory and the strengths and limitations of research evidence, and how research can be used to help companies and its employees.
Students will learn to use acquired knowledge to solve real-life problems in organisations through the application of occupational psychology methodologies.
This master degree program will not only illustrate core psychological theories but also present the latest findings and examples from research & practice.
The programme utilises an online learning platform enabling the student to learn in a highly interactive learning environment while accessing the learning material 24/7.
You also have the option to attend a three-day residential Course Conference in April at the University where you can attend workshops and study skills sessions.
In addition to providing support for your studies, the conference gives you the opportunity to hear esteemed speakers, both academic and practitioner, on areas of occupational psychology. It is also a great opportunity to meet academics and other students.
As part of the course you can also sign up for optional training courses in psychometric testing. (There is an additional cost for these.)
A Second class honours degree in Psychology that confers Graduate Basis for Chartership with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and also must have some occupational experience
IELTS 6.5 or equivalent. If your first language is not English, you may need to provide evidence of your English language ability.
The University of Leicester English Language Test which takes only 90 minutes and is available on demand.
