Students on this postgraduate distance learning degree will have an excellent level of knowledge and understanding of the many topics in Occupational Psychology, including knowledge of theory, and the strengths and limitations of research evidence. They will also develop the required strength to help organisations and its employees.
The strong applied focus will enable our students to use their acquired knowledge as practitioners and as consultants. In addition to utilising occupational psychology methodologies to solve real-life problems in companies, our student will also be presented with the latest research and examples of practice.
This master degree utilises an online learning platform enabling students to learn in an interactive environment while accessing the learning material 24/7.
Our course content and syllabus are designed to meet the needs of professionals in the field.
You have the option to attend a three-day residential Course Conference in April on campus at the University; where you can attend workshops and study skills sessions in the UK.
In addition to providing support for your studies, the conference gives you the opportunity to hear esteemed speakers, both academic and practitioner, on areas of occupational psychology.
It is also a great opportunity to meet academics and other students.
As part of the course, you can also sign up for optional training courses in psychometric testing. (There is an additional cost for these.)
A Second class honours degree in Psychology or a related subject (e.g. Business or Health Studies), or equivalent and also must have some occupational experience
IELTS 6.5 or equivalent. If your first language is not English, you may need to provide evidence of your English language ability.
The University of Leicester English Language Test which takes only 90 minutes and is available on demand.
