The University of Northampton is a winner of the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) Gold award. This is the highest rating awarded to a university by the UK government, thereby placing the university amongst the elite of the higher education institutions in the UK.

The University of Northampton offers over 350 undergraduate, postgraduate and professional courses with a variety of traditional as well as leading-edge subjects.

The university boasts over 14,000 students and 1,500 staff members. Its two award winning campuses (Avenue & Society), consist of four faculties – Health & Society, Education & Humanities, Business & Law, and Arts, Science & Technology.

95% of graduates are able to find employment or study further within 6 months of graduating. Undergraduates have found employment with global companies such as Volkswagen, Tesco and IBM

It was ranked as one of the top 50 UK Universities for Business, Management and Marketing (according to subject), by The Guardian University Guide of 2016.

Northampton Business school was nominated as Outstanding Business School for an unprecedented 3 years in a row (2013, 2014 and 2015), by the Times Higher Education (a Higher Education publication in the UK). Of the 120+ Business schools in the UK, only 6 are nominated annually.

The University of Northampton achieved a 90% overall satisfaction for Business and Administrative studies in the annual National Student Survey (NSS) – placing them ahead of the national average. It placed in the top 20 for international student satisfaction (International Student Barometer Survey).
